What is SIMS?

SIMS is VIDA’s official system for recording and managing work-related health and safety incidents, including accidents, injuries, near misses and hazards.

Why reporting matters

  • Early identification and control of hazards and risks
  • Supports investigations and corrective actions
  • Improves safety performance and learning
  • Supports due diligence and record keeping
If in doubt, report.

What we expect delivery partners to do

  • Report all work-related incidents, hazards and near misses
  • Ensure incidents are recorded in SIMS (directly or via VIDA)
  • Provide accurate and factual information
  • Support investigations and close-out actions
  • Apply SIMS classification guidance
