What is SIMS?
SIMS is VIDA’s official system for recording and managing work-related health and safety incidents, including accidents, injuries, near misses and hazards.
Why reporting matters
- Early identification and control of hazards and risks
- Supports investigations and corrective actions
- Improves safety performance and learning
- Supports due diligence and record keeping
What we expect delivery partners to do
- Report all work-related incidents, hazards and near misses
- Ensure incidents are recorded in SIMS (directly or via VIDA)
- Provide accurate and factual information
- Support investigations and close-out actions
- Apply SIMS classification guidance
