TEST - VIDA Road and Rail Work - Hazard Perception Training
In this module, you’ll be focussing on hazardous tasks presented in a panoramic scene of workers conducting road and rail construction work that can lead to workplace injuries. Once you’ve worked through the scenario, you’ll be asked to think about the hidden hazards that could relate to the scene.
A hidden hazard is something that you can’t see, for example, hot weather. Finally, you’ll be asked to consider all hazards within this module in line with the work you do, to rank in order of what you would need to address first. While at work, keep in mind the Safety Hierarchy of Controls and use the highest level of control where you can. At all times, where practicable, use the above the line controls.
